Build and Price
EV6 marks a new and transformative era in EV motoring, where capability meets comfort, open roads beckon, and premium tech advancements make the driving easy.
EV6 is designed, from the ground up, as a no-compromises EV with zero emissions, exceptional range and available all-wheel drive (AWD).
For more than 100 years, cars were built with the engine first; space for drivers and passengers always came second. Now, with Kia’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), roominess and cargo space come first, with the engine giving way to an all-electric powertrain with instantaneous acceleration and superb driving dynamics.
EV6 is available with a next-generation head-up display (HUD) that uses augmented reality (AR) technology to project a three-dimensional snapshot of essential driving information on the inside of the windshield, just below your line of sight. So you stay on top of every driving situation without taking your eyes off the road.
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) responds to potential collisions with a driver alert and can apply the brakes, if needed. This is augmented with a Junction Turning function to detect oncoming vehicles when you’re turning left.
A long day or a long drive can test the attention of any driver. Lane Keep Assist (LKA) helps by keeping a camera trained on the highway’s lane markers, warning you with audible and visual alarms as well as steering wheel feedback, if you leave the lane without using a turn signal.
EV6 GT-Line comes equipped with a standard, parking- and safety-enhancing Surround View Monitor system, featuring a four-camera array that delivers a 3D, 360° bird’s-eye view of the area around the vehicle.
Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist – standard on EV6 GT-Line models – detects traffic approaching from the side at the rear of the vehicle. When a vehicle is spotted, the system triggers audio and visual alerts to warn you, and then applies the brake, if needed, to prevent a possible collision.
EV6 employs a high-speed 800V multi-charging system that charges as fast as you live life. Quick charge for less than 4.5 minutes to get 100km of driving range. Or go from 10 to 80% charge in less than 18 minutes.
When it’s not lighting up your driving life, EV6’s available V2L (vehicle-to-load) feature can supply up to 1900 watts of AC power to light up your camp site, power the tools on your work site or crank up the sound at your beach party.
Winter temperatures increase battery resistance which spells a reduction of range for most EVs. To cut that loss, EV6 uses an available eco-friendly heat pump to recycle heat given off by the vehicle’s electronic components and use it to optimize battery-pack temperature.
Kia designers took full advantage of the interior space and flat floor provided by EV6’s new Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) to create a spacious interior.
EV6 embodies a new Kia design philosophy, Opposites United, expressed in its wide, futuristic stance; long, contoured silhouette; and swept-back tailgate.
The EV6 instrument panel is defined by dual, 12.3″ TFT center cluster and infotainment screens which places every system control within easy reach of the driver.
