EV9 embraces SUV form and capability in an enhanced EV package. It’s bold, spacious and quiet on city streets; confident, robust and powerful when weather and terrain present a challenge; and able to tow up to 5,000 lb. (2,267 kg) when properly equipped.
Carnival Hybrid EV is available in 7- and 8-passenger models with remarkable comforts – such as 2nd-row VIP Lounge Seating – that create an environment ideal for family travel. And for the driver, an 11" head-up display (HUD) that turns the inside of the windshield, just below their eye line, into a key driving information centre.
EV9 introduces a new array of safety, convenience and personalization innovations to elevate your driving experience. These include Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with over 20 standard collision avoidance and active assist functions.
EV9 is equipped with an expansive digital display combining two 12.3″ screens and a 5″ climate control display. This can be complemented with an available 12″ heads-up display (HUD) that projects key driving information on the windshield, just below your eyeline, so your attention stays focused on the road.
New Digital Key 2.0 Premium turns your smartphone into a secure key that unlocks the doors and starts the vehicle – and the phone never has to leave your pocket or bag. A Share Key function also lets you share full or restricted access with others on their phones.
EV9 is built on Kia’s advanced Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) to deliver outstanding handling and performance. Coupled with fourth-generation battery technology, this gives EV9 up to 489km¹ of all-electric range, so you can travel virtually anywhere, without hesitation.
EV9 is equipped with a high-speed 800V multi-charging system to get you back on your way fast. Quick charge for less than 4.5 minutes to get 100km of driving range. Or go from 10 to 80% charge in as little as 24 minutes depending on charging conditions.
Winter temperatures chill vehicle batteries and reduces driving range for most EVs. To cut range loss, EV9 features an available*, eco-friendly heat pump that recycles heat from the vehicle’s electronic components and uses it to optimize battery-pack temperature.
The comfort and refinement of EV9’s cabin design is perfectly complemented with an available 14-speaker Meridian Premium Sound system with a natural, lifelike and authentic audio experience tailored specifically to EV9’s interior acoustics.
EV9 is the first Kia vehicle equipped to perform over-the-air (OTA) updates to many of its electronically controlled systems, including the electric powertrain. That means fewer dealership visits over the life of the vehicle.
Add a variety of unique front-end lighting signatures with EV9’s Digital Pattern Lighting Grille that can be downloaded directly to your vehicle. An available downloadable feature.
Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 (RSPA2) is another available downloadable feature. Delivered as a wireless download, it lets you park your EV9 safely from outside the vehicle, using only your key fob or smartphone.
EV9 models seat 6 or 7 people, with generous headroom and easy 3rd-row access.
